Health & Safety
The IHP program fee includes the cost of accident and sickness insurance. Students are automatically subscribed to insurance through SIT once they are on the program. In addition to this insurance through SIT, IHP gives students an International Student ID (ISIC) card, which provides emergency support and some travel insurance. Baggage Insurance Claim FormStudents' health, safety and security is our first priority. IHP overseas faculty and staff stay in close contact with the students, the local authorities, embassies and consulates and our offices in Boston; the staff is thoroughly committed to providing caring and professional support to all students enrolled in our programs.
We cannot anticipate the course of world or local events, and cannot guarantee safety. However, please be assured that we monitor the ever-changing environment around the globe and regularly update contingency plans should they ever be needed. We have taken steps to raise the level of our preparedness.
